Refurbishing the bent grass nursery
The crew is reworking the putting green and fairway nursery. The old sod was removed. The surface will be leveled and seeded. We keep a nursery for any repairs that are necessary during the course of the year. |

The grass seed has started to germinate on the 12th fairway. It is important to keep cart traffic off the new seedlings. |
Deep - tine aerating greens this week
We are using a solid tine. After aerification the green is rolled and ready for play. This aerification helps to encourage new roots. |

Greens mower testing
We will be conducting test on greens mowers this week form the three leading equipment manufacturers. The test will take place for the entire week and mowers will be evaluated for performance based on playability and health of the turf. This information will help us make informed decisions when it comes time to replace the current greens mowers. |
